Our client is a sizeable NFP organisation providing aged care services across NSW & ACT. The site includes a medium-sized residential facility and a village with independent units. Recently refurbished, this site is open, bright and attractive. It is located in the NSW Southern Tablelands, offering options to relocate and enjoy the country lifestyle or commute from centres such as Canberra and Goulburn.
The Role
As Care Manager, you will champion the highest levels of care to residents. In this role you will:
* be responsible for clinical care and quality
* build a positive culture for your team
* mentor, coach and train your team members to enhance their skills
* build strong relationships with residents, families, health services and the community
* be actively involved in the financial management of the facility (incl ACF)
Skills and Experience Required
* leadership and people/team management skills
* ability to build relationships, along with good communication skills
* autonomy and initiative
* experience in the provision of care services, ideally aged care
* RN registration
